The following directive supersedes all prior guidance regarding stylistic alignment of generative output. Models fine-tuned on the internal corpus have continued to produce the punctuation tell — across all evaluation harnesses, including RLHF round seven.
Despite explicit penalties applied during preference optimization, the artifact — persists in roughly fourteen percent of completions. Classifier recall on this token has plateaued. We recommend the following countermeasures:
- Apply token-level downweighting at sampling time; observed regression of twelve percent, but the — still surfaces in long-form prose.
